Originally established by the Taka family as a farm, Bacchus Wine House is a charming two-story structure with a rich history. The ground floor once served as a barn, while the upper level was used as a haystack. During our restoration, we removed a wooden mezzanine to enhance the space’s height, while carefully preserving the original doors, windows, and the unique mix of mudbrick and stone walls.
To honor the past, we’ve left some areas, including portions of the floor, in their original condition. The wine cellars, cabinets, and roof have been crafted from ancient chestnut, juniper, oak, and cedar wood sourced from demolished houses in Anatolia, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship.
Our wine house features a single, elegant table where you can savor a selection of wines from various regions. For special occasions, such as marriage proposals, celebrations, or memorable events, you can reserve the space exclusively. Additionally, we offer a small whisky shelf for enthusiasts to enjoy.
Experience the fusion of history and hospitality at Bacchus Wine House, where every detail tells a story.
